Katie and I are just getting back from a marriage conference — not to speak, but to learn.

We went to this conference because we want to grow. We want our marriage to keep moving forward. Your willingness to learn reveals your desire to grow in marriage.

And here’s the thing: healthy marriages are built by lifelong learners.

In fact, the word disciple literally means learner. As followers of Jesus, we’re called to stay humble, curious, and teachable — not just in our faith but in every area of life, especially marriage.

The couples who inspire us the most aren’t the ones who have it all figured out. They’re the ones who stay hungry to grow — who read, who ask for help, who invest in their relationship, and who stay curious about their spouse.

The moment you stop learning is the moment your marriage stops growing.

So let me ask you — what’s your next step as a learner in your marriage?

  • Maybe it’s reading a book together.
  • Maybe it’s listening to a podcast on your commute.
  • Maybe it’s planning that overdue date night.
  • Or maybe, like us, it’s attending a conference.

Wherever you are, don’t settle! Your marriage is worth the investment.

  • The other night we tried to have a hard conversation on date night while sitting / TRAPPED / in a car. 😂
At one point we looked at each other and said “we have got to get out of this car and just walk around.”
Hard conversations done with respect and in love are not the problem, that’s growth!
Next time you need to have a hard conversation try to take a walk and see if it helps you slow down, breathe and hear one another better.
  • Feeling disconnected? So normal! However don’t let one day turn into two. Here are some easy tips that have helped us get back to that loving feeling.
  • Don’t go into the weekend defensive. 🤍

Sometimes the most loving thing you can do for your marriage is recognize, “I’m in a funk, and I don’t want to take it out on you.” Awareness is the first step.

It is definitely a tactic of the enemy to keep you stuck in defensiveness so that you are not able to work through problems. When we committed to breaking this cycle it brought amazing benefits!
  • If you found this page, welcome. We’re so glad you’re here.

Whether your marriage is thriving or barely surviving, our prayer is that these short reels and resources would remind you that there is hope.

We don’t speak from a place of having it all together. We speak from a place of experiencing the strength and faithfulness of the Lord. We have known failure. We have walked through deep pain in our marriage. But by God’s grace, we have also experienced the healing, restoration, and abundance that Jesus paid for on the cross.

If He can restore us, He can meet you too.

We’re honored you’re here. If there’s any way we can serve or encourage you, we’d love to hear from you.
