Gentleness Is The Vibe
Connect
Crisis has a way of convincing us to isolate, but healing was never meant to happen alone.
The right people aren’t there to be your judge and jury. They’re there to offer perspective in your pain, speak truth in love, and remind you of what you can’t always see when you’re hurting.
You don’t need everyone in your story, but you do need someone.
Your next step: Identify one wise, trustworthy person you can invite into what you’re walking through. Don’t ask them to take sides. Ask them to help you see clearly.
Sometimes the beginning of healing is simply allowing someone else in.

Beacon Church, we are missing you already! 🍂❤️
What a gift to spend last weekend with the incredible couples and church family at @beacon.church for their New Marriage, Same Couple marriage conference!
We laughed, got honest, opened God’s Word, and made room to believe that the marriages we’re living can become the marriages God is inviting us to build.
Together we talked about what it looks like to start with me, take quitting off the table, allow others in, and yield to a greater vision for our marriages. Not just staying married, but growing into something beautiful together.
We spent time with parents talking about protecting connection while raising kids, making room for play, and remembering that we don’t have to wait for an easier season to have a thriving marriage.
And Sunday morning, we opened Mark 1 and studied the way Jesus modeled boundaries that bless. Boundaries aren’t meant to help us love people less. Healthy, biblical boundaries actually give us the freedom to love people well.
But more than anything, we left reminded that God is still in the business of redeeming stories, restoring hope, and doing immeasurably more than we could ask or imagine.
To every couple who showed up, leaned in, laughed with us, and courageously made room for God to work in your marriage: THANK YOU. We are cheering you on!
And to the incredible team at Beacon, thank you for loving your people so intentionally and welcoming us like family.
We fell in love with your church, your people, and of course there is no place like New York in the fall! 🍁
Already missing these incredible couples and can’t wait to stay connected and watch all God continues to do in and through your church.
The best is yet to come! 🤍

Jesus, search me and know me. What are you asking of me? This can be one of the most transformative questions on your path to Covenant abundance!

What a gift to spend the weekend with so many incredible couples who are going after Jesus and choosing to intentionally invest in their marriages. 🤍
We never take it lightly when couples make space to slow down, have the real conversations, laugh together, dream again, and invite Jesus into every part of their story.
So grateful for Pastor Randy and Cheryl and the beautiful environment they created @summerville_baptist Marriage Retreat for honesty, connection, and real life change. There is something powerful about a church that believes strong marriages are worth fighting for, and then creates space for couples to actually do the work.
We left reminded all over again: God created covenant. He is still writing stories. And no matter what season your marriage is in, there is always an invitation to take the next faithful step toward one another and toward Him.
Thank you, Summerville Baptist and our new friends, for letting us be a small part of what God is doing in your marriages and families. We are grateful and cheering you on!
